I used to bowl thumbless from time to time, and I couldn't imagine using a ball that weighs any more than 13 lbs without my thumb. Thumbless bowling puts a ton of strain on your forearm, and unless you're a big, strong guy, anything much heavier will probably cause you some pain. I'd bet that a 13 lb ball with a reactive cover will give you all the carry that you need..... I watched several of your videos and you're already getting good carry and pin action with what you're using now.

Personally, I think it would be better to go up to 13 or even 14.. 12 seems a tad too light to knock all the pins.. your ball will rebound from the pins and therefore, not much of pin action. you can try lowering yourself when releasing and throwing slightly the the right for more reaction to the ball.. just my 2 cents.

I have posted some new videos

The catch is this... In order for me to get a new ball, my wife says I need to have a STABLE game and get back up to my 190 average that I had 12 years ago before my car wreck. Now the balls I had I tried using but man they are just too heavy! 15#

In order for me to improve my game it turns out that I may just need to get a new ball.

Bowling gods. If you are listening! Please send a new ball my way (frantic)! Thank you!
