Default Defiant Soul Vs OG Virtual Gravity (Update)

Looking to see if anyone who has both of these balls could give me a nice little breakdown of what one does vs the other on a similar pattern. My only idea at the moment is what ive seen the Soul do on youtube.

Have you checked bowlingball.com for videos?

Every video I have seen they use the same oil pattern for the testing. you would just have to see if the drillings are similar for the testers or not.

In Terms of Tech Specs the Balls are very similar, the only real difference i can see is that the defiant soul would go longer before hooking due to the hybrid reactive coverstock vs the solid cover on the virtual gravity if you are looking for a similar reaction it's a good choice

*note* the above is assuming both balls with the same layout, and out of box finish

I love the Defiant Soul very much! The Soul should hook more than the original Virtual Gravity. The hybrid cover gives you a lot more options than the solid of the VG. If you are debating between the two, I recommend the Defiant Soul.

However, check out the Storm Sync. It is very similar to the VG line from what I can see. It is supposed to be stronger than the Nano.

For anyone who might have been curious about the further details after I got this drilled up tonight it went as follows.

    759 OOB with a 277/224/258.

The soul does line up pretty damn well with the Gravity line along the same lines as the nanos do. Just gives an inbetween ball for the Solid and the Pearl with the hybrid coverstock.
