If you are a lefty, the left most board is 1. If you are a righty, the right most board is 1.

The arrows are five boards apart and at most centers the dots align with the arrows (some don't have the dots on five). So as it goes left to right for a lefty and right to left for a righty. Oiling charts will say stuff like 18l 15r. That means the oil runs from the 18th board from the left to the 15th board from the right.

Ok that's it. I stand on the 10th board and the ball passes on the 5th (1st arrow). I play the same line with both balls I have

The Sync was mentioned by 75Lockwood. I didn't include it because I haven't tried one yet.

I will stick with my Nail for now. Only been throwing it at a single house. I am going to try some dryer houses and see what's up.

The Sync compared to the Aura Paranormal:
Sync has a lower RG and higher differential. So, it will hook sooner, and that is what I want. What do you think?

Don't get too caught up in the numbers. They are for an undrilled ball. Once drilled they obviously change with the intermediate differential being the biggest change (and the most important to characteristic). As long as they are close in characteristics a proper drilling will create the same reaction for the same bowler.

Here's a great article that explains it by Mo Pinel http://wiki.bowlingchat.net/wiki/ima...nel-Nov_10.pdf
