if you where getting strikes that good but where was your foot pointing to the getting at the start of the approach or after the slid because if it was at the slid then you should try to get your foot to adj alittle so its pointing to your target but if its at the start thats nothing, at the start of my approach my feet are face into the lane to my right but i do this so i stop striding left.

the way to fix the slid practice slidding in your house in your socks and put tape on the ground just alittle and practice getting your toes to hit that one spot and then adj your body around it and see if you can from different angles of turning your body at the start of a approach.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you saying that you moved 2 boards left in your starting position and now your foot winds up pointed at the gutter? Or are you saying that your slide foot ends up 2 boards left of where it starts?

If the first case is correct and you're hitting your target and getting good in the pocket strikes, no other adjustment is necessary.

The second case is just that you drift. Two boards left is pretty normal for a righty. Your foot should wind up parallel to the initial path of the ball. In other words if your target is second arrow your foot should wind up pointed at the third arrow. Unless you're playing really deep and wind up sliding right in front of the gutter, your foot must be twisting during the slide. This can put too much stress on the ankle and or knee. It also makes it harder to be in balance at release.

If it's like you were doing during your video then your foot actually turns after your slide. As long as it doesn't cause any pain, who cares.

I went back and watched part of your video. The turn, as Bill said, happens after the release and doesn't really affect the shot.

I did notice that you didn't seem to turn when shooting spares and at least once you didn't turn on the first ball. Generally speaking, you want to be as consistent as possible. Consistency yields more predictable ball reaction and better accuracy.

Since it doesn't hurt and happens after the release, I don't think you should worry too much about it.

Your foot is basically facing your mark at the point of release. Technically it is in line with the path of the ball through your mark. Because our bodies all have some variations in structure and flexibility, not every one can achieve the ideal finish position.
