Default What's the deal with the Taboo Spare by Hammer?

I was looking at the Hammer Bowling site for plastic spare balls to compliment my Hammer Nail and I didn't find any like at Storm.

I did find this Taboo ball with a weight block and a polyester cover.

    What's the deal?

BTW, My spares have gone UP since the new ball. Most of my open frames where splits last night so that kinda sucked!

My 10 pin pickup with my Nail has gone UP too.

ok i think ik why they made this one where it will hook probly because they now on a regular pattern like a THS or sport the ball wont hook but as it says in the video of what oil they are bowling on the kegal spare challenge pattern thats probly why they made this ball to hook so who ever is throwing this ball and get it to hook on that pattern and beable to strike every time rather then throwing it straight at it.

Ok, so most every spare ball you see will have a pancake weight block and a plastic cover to limit movement, the taboo spare-ball is an interesting case, it has the same plastic cover, but has the same core as the rest of the taboo line, this will allow for more movement than a "normal" spare ball, but still less than even a urethane ball with a pancake weight block.

Would this be a 10 pin ball?

I have been looking at this ball. It matches the cover graphics of my Hammer Nail nicely
