Before we moved it was twenty minutes or so. Now it's only about three minutes. It was my wife's biggest selling point to get me to move. for her it's closer to work and the kids. I don't want to be too close to the kids and it's further from work for me. I actually have to drive by my old street for my work commute.

My coach and I are going to go to Carrolier to watch pros bowl in a couple weeks. I can't wait.

The lanes I practice by myself are 5 miles/10 minutes away. Another set I sometimes go to is 6 miles/15 minutes away.

The lanes I bowl league in is about 25 miles/30+ minutes away (I go there during rush hour).

And finally, the lanes I get lessons at is 24 miles/35 minutes away.
One particularly nice thing about Carrlier is that they can hold torunaments and kiddie parties while stil accomodating the walk in bowler. Other lanes I know would have closed to walkins. Lanes are always well oiled on weekends too. Kiddie parties are on the far right on the other side of the wall, allowing competitive bowlers more concentration.

The Ally i bowl at is about a 10 minute drive, but my school is a 5 minute walk from the ally so its still really convenient. there's another ally right down the street, but i don't like that one as much...

The house I bowl at is 25-30 min away. The other alley in my town is 40 min away and is only 12 lanes.

I wish we had more alleys, because the lack of competition creates lazy ownership/management.
