    Default Dv8 Misfit

I have a DV8 misfit and have used it for a year bowling 1 night a week on league and occasionally another night. How often should I get my ball resurfaced? Also my ball has some deep grooves in it from our crappy lanes. Do they fill the grooves when resurfacing? Do these grooves affect the ball at all? Thanks

Considering that you have bowled more than 150 games with the Misfit, I would definitely recommend a resurfacing and a deep cleaning in a ball oven. Grooves on your ball are part of the battle wounds of bowling and will affect your ball only if they are on your track.

They actually do the opposite for grooves in the ball. Rather than filling they will sand the ball removing most of the spot and then getting you to a fresh surface.

Id do what everyone else is suggesting plus after you get it de oiled and resurfaced, give it a bath every 50 games or so and get it re polished
