I'd just be excited to shoot 200 one game lol I was a very good bowler as a kid I got my high score of 212 at about 11 and than quit bowling for almost 15 years and just started picking it back up a few months ago cause my gf wanted to join a league with some friends... My average is slowly going up I currently sit at a 131 but I think my average was better than that as a child lol I want to get a new ball and hopefully that will help

Having your own ball helps soooooooo much.

Just make sure you get a good driller.

I have been using my old hammer that is about 15 years old lol i had dit redrilled and the pro shop guy said i should get fingertip which i.was hesitant about at first but im glad i did. Now i want a ball that isnt ancient lol

Also how do you know if you have a good driller? I used the pro shop by my house, i got the fingertips a little over a month ago and so far seems to be fine

The best way is look for a 190-200 & up bowler and ask.

One good way to tell if you don't have a good driller is if you have more than 1 bowling ball drilled by the same person, check to see the feel is the same between all of them. The thumb size may vary, but the span (distance between the fingers and thumb when inserted in the ball), should feel the same. You shouldn't be able to tell any difference between the bowling balls.

Went practicing and threw 7 games.

I had a 187, a 165, a 134 (started with 4 splits), a 198, and a 185.

Not good, but not horrible.

I had a 179, 221, 201, 177, 199, 169, 147, 154, and a 189 in the title match.

We lost by 12 pins though.
