Welcome Christina.
Hello,
I was excited to come across these boards dedicated to bowling. I joined my first bowling league in 2002 and have been addicted ever since. In 2005 I shot my first (and only) 300 and in 2007 I shot an 826 series (which tied the Massachusetts Women's Record). Generally I average somewhere between 200 and 210. Last year was my best season (213) and this year the worst I have had in several years (195). I have been plagued by bowler's elbow for the better part of it and my scores have been all over the place. I have bowled as many as five leagues in a season, but now am only in a scratch match play league. Working through the elbow issues and hoping the few weeks I took off recently have helped.
Looking forward to talking about bowling and more bowling!
Christina

I have one person that might be able to help, but now that I am injured I cannot straighten my arm and that has caused my armswing to become increasingly worse. I ended up going to less aggressive equipment to counteract the elbow issues. I have not bowled in three weeks, but I am doing tennis elbow exercises, icing my arm, and taking Aleve. Tonight (Friday) will give me a better idea of where I am at. I have a tournament coming up in a few weeks in Vermont (singles/doubles/teams). I am trying to "save" my elbow for that. Basically the goal is to get through the season and use the summer to recoup and fix any mechanical issues I have likely developed that caused the elbow issue in the first place.
