I am getting one next month. From what I have heard it is a pretty good ball. I have seen quite a few being used on the PBA tour. I know Pete Weber uses one and a few others.

I am assuming you are talking about the original Defiant and not one of the later releases like the Defiant Edge or Defiant Soul? I love my Defiant. Great ball that carries well for me...

Tweener; PAP= 4.75 over x .75 up/Tilt 10 degrees/Axis of rotation 40 degrees/Revs = 368 and speed is 16.86 MPH average.
Dependent on drilling it tends to be an early rolling ball with a smooth arc. It's fairly easy to control the pocket. I have some friends that throw it. It's really good on a fresh shot or have atleast a moderate amount of oil on the heads.
I have the original Defiant drilled pin over ring finger and it is a very smooth rolling ball thats not to flippy like some other asymmetrical balls.

i do not put a a lot of revs.just want a ball that is going to be smooth, controlling and has a good arc to the pocket.i think i will get that from the defiant
You may want to check on the disturbed by Roto Girp too. It'll give a similar smooth shape of the defiant, but is less oil sensitive. It'll hold up a little longer in transition if that is of any concern to you.
all ready ordered the defiant
