    Default Great Day so far!

Well today so far has gone well for my Bday. Was surprised to get an email from Bowling Boards wishing me a happy birthday that made me smile. So I went to bowl with my brand new ball, (a gift to myself) a Columbia 300 Mass Eruption that I got drilled yesterday, and wouldn't you know it...I score my second 200 game today with a score of 210!! It was also my best game because I only left one frame opened in the 7th. My next two games were a 163 and 179 which is keeping my average this month over 150 a game, and my best series so far with a 552!
I'm going to keep this momentum going as I try to join or at least sub for a sports league later on this evening. I know the patterns will be toug her, but I'll stay focused and enjoy it either way.

Happy Birthday!! Guess your next post will have the Columbia Mass Eruption in the Signature line? Haha... Good shooting with it!

I had the pleasure to throw it in a demo day back in November and it was my top 3.
I went ahead and bought the Ebonite Innovate, though and its helped my game big time!

    Happy Bowling! (: .)

Default Great Day, Great Week, Great Month so far!

Well my first sports league night went better than I expected. It was singles league, but consisted of 3 players per lane pair, and 4 lanes rotation after each game...12 lanes total. So I played four games and was nervous from the start, because I figured the patterns were going to be tougher than a THS and they were! My first game was only a 132...the second game/lane was a lot better for me I thought, as I scored 169. By the third game I was sweating (shouldn't have wore that light sweater shirt), and I couldn't convert a spare to save my life, plus about 3 splits one being a 7/10! It was bad for every one on that pair of lanes and I ended with a 113! The fourth and last game I went back to basics when the light bulb in my head finally came on about the 4th frame and I began powering through at the moment of release. Wouldn't you know it...3 strikes in a row and it saved my game ending with a 168. I think I did okay considering...I really love what my new ball is doing to those pins. Still feeling the fever of throwing my first 2 200 games this week, I decided to go for a few after work. My first game I was trying to play inside out (still working on that), but when I didn't get the spare I told myself I'm just going to stick with what I know for now and ended that game with a 197! Darn first frame! Next game wasn't as good, but it kept me over my 150 average with a score of 166. My third game I told myself I was really gonna concentrate and focus more on my spares if I don't strike. Well it wasn't my highest game, but I ended knocking down 110 pins!! Which means I left no pins standing! I know the max is 120, but I hit X, 9, / in the 10th. My final score was a 202 which was the 3rd 200 game this week! and my highest series of a 565. My average this month is a 158 which I'm happy about since I've only been bowling with my first fingertip ball since November still improving. Maybe I'll play CA Lottery tomorrow lol!
