    Nope not at all!

E-Tank is right, I don't get tired because I take a day off in between. I'm sure I'd get tired if I bowled 30+ games in consecutive days.

I burned out my arm last week out of nowhere. It doesn't happen often but I sure know when it does. I balled up on the backend and stayed on the same line. Went from a ball that was 60x60 to 60x30. I still had my speed just lost quite a bit of revs. I couldn't stop bowling since I was in league. When you gotta keep going adjust to what you have left don't keep pushing yourself at full power.

I bowl 4 days in a row mon-thrs I do 6 games m-w and 8 on thrusday. Thrusday is when I practice with new layouts and spares. Weekend tourneys 6-10 games and 3-6 more if I make top 6-8. Going at this pace lets you find your long term ablity sure it's less speed and revs than you can but after 6 games with 4 more to go you can attack the lanes that have been opened up. Most guys in long sets are tired the ball is moving early and they have no speed left and will quit aiming. If you save yourself for late games 8-10 you can pick up a little ball speed and still have decent revs to take advantage of the condition.

Damn, that's a lot of games.

There was this one day back when I was 16 or 17 that I bowled around 45 games throughout the day. 3 games of practice, 3 on league, 3 more practice, went to a different house for a tourney and bowled 2 or 3 games before we started, 10 games during the tournament, didn't make the cut for the next day so I dejectedly went back back to my home alley and bowled the rest of the night. Luckily I worked there so my games were free.

The weekend of our city tournament I bowled ten practice games Thursday, seven Friday, three practice games and eighteen tournament games Saturday and did the same Sunday. Monday and Tuesday were three league games each plus a money series Tuesday after league (I love the $1/pin series).

Typical week: Sunday sub three games, practice ten games. Monday three league games. Tuesday three league games then three money games of practice. Wednesday ten practice games. Thursday ten practice games. Friday fifteen practice games. Saturday is league every other for three games AFTER twenty to forty games of practice depending on what I have going on that day, i.e. lessons, errands, etc.

I'm 44 so I'm not young but it decent shape.

Last year I bowled in several leagues... Monday, Tuesday, Tuesday late evening (subbed), Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (subbed)

My league scores would get worse later in the week. My arm wouldn't have the strength, and my hand had a hard time holding the ball at times. Of course, part of the issue was my release., since I kept muscling allot. I've changed my release now, much more relaxed. I bowl Monday & Wednesday, but recently bowl Sundays. I still sub Tuesday late evening and Thursday. I don't have any arm strength issues anymore, since my release change. I'm 49.
