In regard to using the S.E.G. 2Hd'ed. I don't have first hand knowledge, but you probably could.
I think you'd be better served though, finding the cause of the problem first.
It sounds like it just recently started, so it looks like something may have changed in your release like ,using a improper release form, worn grips etc.

Kyle, I am probably the only person here who can truly answer this question. Not only am I a fellow two hander, but I use a Sarge Easter grip on half of my balls. First, it does not cut down on rev rate. My rev rate is in the 500-550 range with the Sarge. No your delivery doesn't have to change. The one thing to watch out for using Sarge is coming too far off the side of the ball, you can hurt your finger. From what I have seen in your video, despite your concerns, you do not come off of the side so much that it would hurt. The one thing I use with my Sarge is the skin protection tape on my ring finger to get it out quicker and easier. Any other questions, ask away!

You are freaking awesome man! I would greatly appreciate you answering a few of my questions.
1. Why did you originally change to sarge easter?
2. Will it fully eliminate the pain in my ring finger?
3. Is the grip more comfortable then regular fingertips?
4. How long do you think it will take me to adjust to the new grip?
5. Have you gotten most of your equipment re-drilled with S.E?
6. Do you back and forth between grips?

1. Why did you originally change to sarge easter? Because I liked the feel of conventional finger, but wanted the lift and revs from fingertip, so it was a nice compromise.
2. Will it fully eliminate the pain in my ring finger? It should. Mike Fagan says it's why he changed, and he eliminated all his finger pain.
3. Is the grip more comfortable then regular fingertips? For me, yes. I love the feel of having that one finger deeper, and gripping ball instead of rubber.
4. How long do you think it will take me to adjust to the new grip? Not long, maybe a few frames, but probably not longer than 5-10 games.
5. Have you gotten most of your equipment re-drilled with S.E? Yup, almost everything I use a regular basis.
6. Do you back and forth between grips? Yup, my spare ball is straight fingertip, and my 508A that I used Monday night, because dropping the ring finger would mean drilling into the pin.
I would suggest doing it on one, older ball you don't use much, and give it a few games to see what it feels like.

I didn't know you already use bowling tape now. The reason is, your release looks violent. I'm not sure how it comes out. I would rather use bowling tape, than having risk of breaking your finger.Originally Posted by I suck at bowling
