Had an eventful 1st game tonight during league...

We were bowling against a team, with real good bowlers. We usually lose to their team, so I was doubtful we would get a point. I was shooting well in the 1st game. Scores was close between both teams, and it was up to the anchors on the 10th frame, myself and theirs. I had a double up to the 9th frame, with a 239. We both struck on the 1st frame on the 10th, so I needed another strike to secure it. Threw a 2nd strike on the 10, and another on the filler, to finish off with a 269 and win the game. We won the 1st game by 17 pins. Love that feeling when you're locked and got the shot and it's up to you to win the game!!!

Fortunately, we won the 2nd & 3rd, as well as series, taking 7 points from them. I finished off the night with a 642 series.

And to top it off, we were bowling for $1 game after the league. I wasn't bowling too well, with a 174, 193, 191, 173. The lanes were oily, and I had to keep moving further right. One guy was giving me crap since he won the 3rd game and 4th game, so I bet him $20 on 1 more game. He only had $10. I beat him with a 240 and took his cash with a smile

Hahaha. I actually figured my line by the 10th of the 4th game and I wanted to shut him up, which is why I wanted to increase the wager and play 1 more game. I'm going to rub it in his face tomorrow. He's on my team on the Men's league and we usually go to a local restaurant for $1 quarter pound burgers. Going to tell everyone the burgers are on him.
