It will go farther down the lane before it hooks and it might have a sharper turn when it does, Depending on the conditions and your style.

Right handed Stroker, high track ,about 13 degree axis tilt. PAP is located 5 9/16” over 1 3/4” up.Speed ave. about 14 mph at the pins. Medium rev’s.High Game 300, High series 798

Less hook due to length(unless you a throw hard with a lot of revs)! What type of THS(typical house shot)are you bowling on? 500 is for heavy oil up to 4000 for light-dry oil. Also depends on your ball and how it is drilled as well as polish or no polish, you put on a lot of revs or low revs.

could you give us specifics on pin position, psa(mass bias) how far pin is from pap ? all very important factors,it's great that you bowl as much as you can,it's a great game.

This is something i always get into with people, the number of boards the ball cover's =/= the amount the ball hooks

the breakpoints shape is essentially how much the ball hooks, a stronger hooking ball will have a more acute break point angle than a weak hooking ball. the next factor is when the ball enters the hook phase, two balls with the same breakpoints shape but one is a solid that will enter the hook phase sooner and one is a pearl that will enter the hook phase further down the lane, the solid will cover more boards because it spends more time in the roll phase. (see below for really inartistic representation of this)

On to your question: if you want the ball to cover less of the lane, go to a higher grit/add polish to give more length, if you want a weaker hook, buy a new ball lol
