It's driving too hard through the 1-3 and not deflecting enough off the 5. Move a board left with your feet with the same target.
My Misfit has a nasty habit of leaving the 9 pin. Before I bought my Misfit, I could count on one hand the amount of times I've left the 9 pin in two years. Now, it happens constantly. I'm talking flush pocket shots too. Thursday it left 4 in a row in a practice game. Sunday I threw the best shot of the night in the 3rd game. It went exactly where I wanted, it was perfect speed, hooked great, slammed the pocket hard, the loudest pocket hit of anyone around me all night. The pins all went flying, all except the 9 pin. What is going on? That was the last time I threw the Misfit that night. It's frustrating, I had such high hopes for this ball, and it's one more 9 pin away from going on eBay.
Trying not to suck, one day at a time.

I figured it was not deflecting enough, just didn't know how to fix it. Thanks Bill, I'll give it a try next time out.
