It was our 2nd Third Position round. We were bowling for 3rd or 4th position, but teams were so close up top, if we took 7, we could take 1st place. Unfortunately, our team only won 5 points, 1st, 3rd, & series. Some girl on the opposite team, who normally averages around 148, shot a 220 scratch. I couldn't catch up with her and the rest of my team didn't bowl well. We were winning 3rd game, so I didn't really try. We were fortunate that the 1st place team didn't win all there games, so we tied them with games. So we had a 1 game roll-off for 1st place. I shot around a 232, but my team didn't bowl. Just wished one of the other bowlers on my team bowled their average, since we only lost by 30 pins. We at least have 2nd place secured.

Wednesday Men's

Used my Hammer 1st Blood. Made the handicap and also scratch survivor 1st & 2nd game, but 2 opens on the 3rd game left me with a 226. I didn't bother sticking around, since I figured I didn't win any money. I happened to stop by Friday and found out that I took 4th place on a survivor, unsure which one. WOW, I guess I was fortunate that everyone else struggled.

I put my Hammer Taboo Original in my Revivor oven to extract the oil, then I resurfaced it, which was originally at 2000 grit. I repaired all the small nicks and cuts and put it back at 2000 grit, but added polish. I also extracted the oil in my Hammer Taboo Blue/Silver and repaired the nicks and cuts and resurfaced it back to 4000 grit. I decided to use it Sunday, since it wasn't really a big money league. I had a bad 1st and 2nd game, since I was experimenting between my Hammer 1st Blood, Taboo original, and Taboo Blue/Silver. I switched back to the 1st Blood and I started figuring out my line by 2nd game. Then someone on the other team suggested that we bet $5 man on the last game. I'm not a good bowler, but I knew I was the most consistent out of everyone on both teams, so I agreed. Guess who took home the money?

I forgot to post this as my 1st post, but I shot a 300 after league bowling a few weeks back..

Beginning of the last 3rd. Used my Hammer 1st Blood 1st & 2nd game. Lanes were dry. I didn't have enough hand/speed to use it when it's really dry, so I switched out to my Hammer Taboo original, and started to do well. Unfortunately, we lost the 2nd game, due to my team's poor performance. We lost the 2nd game by 75 pins. Fortunately, we won the 1st, 3rd, & series.

Used my Hammer 1st Blood. Won some $$$ with 1st game handicap, with 271. I had 11 handicap. Started struggling 2nd game. Switched over to my Hammer Taboo original and started doing well again. We won the 1st, 2nd, & series.

As expected, I didn't bowl well. I was late, due to helping a friend out, so I didn't get a chance to really relax and practice. I subbed for the night.

Yeah that would suck to get it when it doesnt reay count but its quite an accomplishment regardless.... How do.you like the first blood? In a few weeks when i have the money and if i dont happen to win a ball on here lol i will be purchasing a new ball and i like the look of the first blood

Did well 1st & 2nd game. Left a couple of splits in the 3rd game. Won $$$ 2nd game high game handicap score.

Use my 1st Blood on the right lane, Hammer Taboo Original on the left lane. Right lane I was 5 boards farther right, compared to the left. We had a sub in our team, who can crank the ball and dried up my line really quick. I wasn't used to the condition by the 3rd game. Lost chances for survivor in the 3rd game.


PRACTICE AFTER LEAGUE
200, 221, 233, 200 - A few of us usually bowl after the league for money. Actually, just $1 a game. I used the Hammer Taboo original 1st game and won. Struggled a bit on the 2nd game, and finally switched over to my 1st Blood and started doing well. Unfortunately, my friend bowl a 232 and won. I knew I had the 3rd game, since I was already locked on. 3rd game, I won. 4th game, we bet $2. I had 4 strikes, and on the 5th frame, I left a 10 ping and missed the spare, so I left the frame open. Fortunately, the other guy opened as well on the 4th. On the 5th & 6th I got a strike, 7th frame 8/spare. 8th frame, I left 4, 7, 10 split and only picked up the 4 & 7, so I left another open. Again, the other guy opened. The 9th I left a 10 pin and picked up the spare. The other left another open, so I had the game locked. Struck on the 10th, and left 4, 6,7, 9, 10 split. No worries for me, since I already knew I won it. Picked up the 4, 6, 9, 10. Finishing with a 200 on the 4th game.

I didn't do too well. I was all over the place in the 1st game. I couldn't stay consistent. Finally figured it out 2nd game. 3rd game, my line was spotty. Unfortunately, out of any pots.

Subbed in this league. I usually have trouble at this center (Brunswick Zone), so I have some handicap. 30 pins Yeah, I suck here. Made the survivor and got 2nd place.
