    Default Fouled

I couldnt believe it tonight... I was practicing and after a couple weeks of being in a slumpo I am starting to find my groove again and bam I frigging foul throwing the ball... I was so concentrated on not fouling that I starting to focus more on that than where I was throwing the ball... Buddy of mine said it was a freak accident dont worry just throw the ball... Next game bam I did it again and im like what the heck!!! Apparently I am either doing something differnt or just wasnt plain paying attention. tonights the first night I can ever recall of fouling ever. Has anyone of yall fouled twice in one night?

Way back in the day I used to slide to within about ⅛ inch of the foul line
and have fouled 2 or 3 times in one game before and several times in one
    night.

I don't have to worry about fouling now days as I stop probably 1 - 2 foot
from the foul line now since my old bad knees won't let me slide like that
    anymore.

Since I've been bowling (age 4) I've not fouled a single time so I have no idea what that feels like. I usually end up between 4-6 inches from the line with a minor slide.

When the slide is working right, I'm within 1/2" of the line. I have fouled before but my home center has not turned on the foul indicators. I have corrected my score before when I've noticed it.

Don't worry about it too much. If it keeps happening then you need to look at why. Is your slide longer? If so, just start a little further back. Is your footwork different? If so, why? Is it better?
Could of just been one of those strange nights.

That really is strange! I can't imagine a person fouling without a slide. With a slide, it can sometimes happen that you just skid a bit too far, but with walking and planting, it really shouldn't be a problem because people usually naturally take the same size steps. Were you, perhaps, working on some other aspect of your game that might have made you lose focus on the approach itself? Or perhaps something overexcited you and you just rushed the line on those occasions?

Thinking about it now I didnt think itd make much differnt but I was telling a friend of mine I was noticing I was cupping the ball slightly as I thrrew it and was doing better. I do not know if this small of a change in my hand took focus out of my approach or what
