That's a feel good story any one with a heart can get behind. Two thumbs up!
Long story short:
I am getting in some much needed practice right before summer league starts and am breaking in my new Reign of Power (Love It!). It was just one of those nights and the ball was not hooking up like I wanted, so I decided to switch out and have a last fling with an old beat up Frantic I keep around.
I was just about ready to 'retire' this ball (meaning a trip to the dump) since it has been miss-plugged, chewed up and generally tired out, and BAM...7 strikes in a row and if it hadn't been for a lazy last shot, a clean game.
I guess the 'ol girl is going to hang around for a little longer in the bag....you just never know....
That's a feel good story any one with a heart can get behind. Two thumbs up!
Sonds like she is ready to help on the dryer lanes. Not retirement but a lateral move.

Even the more seasoned ones can still get the job done, she doesnt even need to get oiled up first.
There is no such thing as a retired ball for me. Unless something breaks, I'll find a use for it for some reason, even if that reason is just to try it out again. That reminds me... it's probably about time to pull out the old Beast again and see what I can do with it.
