If you ever drove with my ex, you would wrap your balls in one or more seesaws to protect them. They do protect the balls from banging into each other in your bag...or other stuff banging into them. In the "old" days the bags didn't have nice padded dividers and such, and my ex was driving "normal" and threw the balls around in the car and as they clanged together, one of them split in half. I still enjoy that laugh!
