good luck,,, you probably remember my BAD experience with the Vivid!! Hope it solves the problem!!
I have a Storm Vivid that has recently been driving me nuts. I have actually been referring to it as my "10 pin ball." Why? Because when I want to get some practice converting 10 pins, I throw the Vivid as my first ball as I leave such a large and disproportionate number of 10s with it. Well over half of my solid pocket hits with this ball would result in ringing 10s. Frustration plus.
So I took the Vivid to my pro. I wanted him to take the ball from 2000 (OOB) to 4000 and polish it. lets see it lose energy now! Going to take it our for some practice today...If this adjustment was too much, then we keep adjusting from there.

Good luck Jay. You could just use it as an air freshener.

Bowled 15 frames with the polished and resurfaced Vivid. 11 strikes, 2 ten pins, a 2-8 and a 4-6-7. I am happy with that....and yes it smells really good still.
