U.S. Army, 18Z30 planned to do 30 years but instead was injured during the first Gulf War so I didn't re-enlist. Turned down a huge bonus and another stripe to be a full-time dad. I miss it but it was the correct decision.

Trying not to suck, one day at a time.
I started life as a sailor November 5, 1965 at Great Lakes boot camp. Went to Memphis, Tennesee to a Navy A school to learn aircraft hydraulic systems maintenance in January of '66. June 6, 1966 I was sent to Corpus Christi, Texas to be a member of Navy squadron
VT-29 until October 2, 1969 when I checked out to be a civilian. Had some great times there and great friends. I was from the north so I did love the warm weather down there and the southern gals.
