Now I'm coming from the perspective of a two hander, so I may be biased, but your two handed delivery definitely looks better than your one handed.
I think my "whippy" delivery comes from me trying to generate revs. I can't do the whole cup-uncup motion very well, so I whip the ball trying to compensate.

The more I watch my two handed form, the better it looks. Do you think I'm too upright on my delivery?

Your two-handed is better than your one-handed. You have lots of potential with both. I say keep working on both and use whichever you want that day.
Osku and Belmo are obviously exceptional but it's the balance they have that you need to acquire. From there the rest will fall into place. Even power players use finesse. Bowling is a sure fire finesse sport.

Yeah, your back leg still comes up over your head at one point in your delivery. I notice it a lot with the yourger, smaller guys who are trying the two handed delivery. They are trying to throw it harder, and rev it more, and they put a lot of body into the delivery. Watch Belmo, and how smooth he is, and how little wasted motion he has in the upper body. Not everyone can, or has to emulate Belmo or Osku, but they do provide a good blueprint for a solid two handed delivery. It's not so much the follow through were you are more upright than Belmo, it's the release point. You could use more knee bend, and bending at the waist a little more as well. The last video I posted of me was a while ago, I will try to post another one soon. Since then I have more knee bend, and now I have zero loft. Because you stand up a little more, You have loft. The ironic thing is as I work to get lower and smoother, the more I start to realize that as an older two hander, I will probably have to go the other way. I will have to stand up more, and put less torque on my back if I want to bowl this way in the years to come.

I totally agree with Bill. You have a lot of potential with either delivery. What I would suggest, take some revs off your one handed delivery. Not just to stop the whipping motion, but to give you a totally different game than your two handed. It's what I am trying right now. I can play down and in with one hand, and deep inside with two, and use either if I play the middle.

you should stick to your 2 handed it was great but your 2 handed had the worse head bobbing, your 1 handed throws you where flipping your wrist to much where you could hurt your wrist and jsut saying dont think it wont because i just hurt my wrist because i use to flip my wrist abit to so you need to learn how to just lift the wrist and not use you forearm to move your wrist.

but your 1 handed with the flipping will make you lose accuracy so i would say the 2 handed because you had alot more control 2 handed.

Yeah, I know quite a few one handers who do the whipping motion. And they are all smaller guys like me.

Everyone says "you're gonna blow your elbow out kid!" lol

I'll have to try to work on my one handed, but it'll be hard because its the only motion I know currently. Any drills/tips that will help with get rid of the whippy-ness?

And I'll work on the knee bend. I can see that I have problems with that both one and two handed.

I'm inching my way towards having better balance, though currently its light years better then where I was before.

and I plan on using both approaches, I might even use two handed on one lane, and one handed on the other, lol.
