What I found most interesting was the script from Storm/Roto-Grip mentioning surface changes. It was nice to read that and no longer see a company say how OOB is all you will ever need. It appears we may be turning a corner with what we need and the companies assisting in getting us there instead of telling us we need yet another ball.

From the look of the names I feel a lil disappointed I like seeing newer equipment this looks to be the same as what's out now just with dif covers? I might be wrong. Lets hope the Dv8 summer balls is something new! Innovate and expand!

Same cores, different cover colors with slight changes in the covers.

I actually like the look of the Marvel S. That could be interesting...

The Totally Defiant looks like the Track 607A. By far the most hated ball in the last 5 years, although I loved mine. RotoGrip makes good stuff, I'm sure all of these balls will be excellent. Plus, they don't smell like fruit, or whatever the hell scents Storm puts in their balls nowadays.
Trying not to suck, one day at a time.

I still boggles my mind the poor job that Storm/Roto grip are doing to market their new balls. I first found out about them from some other web based bowling store...and the last time I checked, Roto Grip STILL doesn't have anything on their main web site...........

Having said that...Hy Road Pearl is looking interesting, but I am getting fired up about the Deranged. The Disturbed is a great ball, and adding a pearl cover to it may just make it a 'must have in the bag' for the upcoming fall leagues

Actually, IMO, it's "smart" on RG's part not to shove the new releases down our throats just yet. Think about it... The new stuff, that we know is coming, is a month or two away. If too much "hype" is made about the new stuff, it could and probably will essentially kill sales of the existing line. That doesn't help them, or the shops that depends on our business. Now, inside a month, I agree, bombs away on the publicity, but until then, patience my friend, patience.

I completely agree with stumblin, aggressively marketing new gear means hurting the sales of current releases.
