Funny thing happens when you stick a wondering soul in a Pro Shop.

Sweet serendipitous things.

It was sitting on the consignment rack at the pro shop surrounded by other balls. Some were objects of sheer beauty while others had seen better days. It was buried under two that had seen better days. I moved aside it's aging kin and what do I find but a little gem.

Picked it up, drilled fingertip grip. Tried it, fit like a glove on the index and ring finger, thumb needed one piece of tape.

Asked the pro if I could throw a few frames with it.

Holy sweet mother of "The Dude"

I have never had a ball leave my hand and ease off my fingers so beautifully. Pro checked the grip and its identical to my lay out.

It's probably funny to name bowling balls... but I'd like the world to say hello to "Dippy" ... the "new to me" 12 lb Fringe!

I feel like I should ask some local pro shops if they have any balls they are just trying to get rid of. Can't hurt

I wasn't even looking for a new ball. We were there because we were picking up new wrist braces and my hubby's Strike King. If we hadn't lingered there looking around the shop it would have never found me.
