Cool Lucky and Blessed am I (!!) and a question...

I was watching the BowlExpo broadcast from Las Vegas on Livestream the other day (actually June 27) and they had Randy Peterson, Norm Dume, Pete Weber, Tim Mack and Mike Fagan on for interviews and commentary. It was great watchng these guys and hearing some outrageously funny stories - PLUS the ball and equipment give aways kept me quite interested. One of the giveaways was for the Norm DUke instructional DVD set PLUS a Storm Ball of your choice. The give away was actually a trivia question with the first correct response in the Livestream chat to win the rpize pack. Fortunately, they asked a question that I knew the answer to immediately (How many World Championships in horseshoe pitching did Walter Ray Williams win?) and I gave the answer "6" as I assumed they were looking for Adult Championships. Well, I won...

So, I have the Norm Duke DVD set coming PLUS a Storm SYNC. I was thinking of having it drilled like my Reign of Power (65 x 4 3/4 x 65). Do any of you have a SYNC and how do you have yours drilled??

I do have a Sync though I'm not sure exactly on its drilling. All I know is I love it and it hits like a monster.

That's awesome Jay. You will enjoy the Norm Duke DVD set. I'm sure it will all be old hat for you but may jog your memory on some aspect you've forgotten about.
Good choice on the ball. The Sync seems like a good piece. Personally I would have it drilled the same as the ROP to have a 1-2 set that wouldn't require moving for the transition. This can be helpful on patterns you're not completely comfortable with. If you only plan on using it on a THS, try a different layout to keep it fun and different.

I always like to see one of the good people have good things happen to them.

Thanks folks. And Bill, I like the layout of the ROP. It give me good length and a nice hard move to the pocket. I have never seen a ball that continues thru the pin deck like that Reign of Power. if I lay out the SYNC the same way it should give me a good 1-2 punch I think...
