Default Care and feeding for a healthy ball?

Plenty of discussion here and on other sites regarding the proper care (cleaning) and feeding (polishing/resurfacing) of balls. Is there a definitive go to schedule / method of doing so?

Asking primarily for my Fringe (and my hubby's Strike King) which are both pearl cover stock. We also have a Black Mamba in the house which I know isn't pearl.

Just want to make sure that I am treating my equipment correctly.

The consensus from what I've read is as follows:

Wipe the ball with a microfiber towel after every shot.

Clean the ball after every bowling session with either a bowling specific cleaner or some other cleaner, like a mixture of Simple Green and alcohol. Ideally this is done before leaving the bowling center.

After 60 to 100 games the ball should have a deep cleaning.

Also, most manufacturers list their recommended schedule on their websites.

    According to Storm:

    Clean/polish after every bowling session.
    Resurface every 30-50 games.

Really, though, wipe off after every shot, clean after every session, touch up your ball every so often (surfacing), and deep clean it every 75 games or so (Unless you throw it on heavy oil a lot).

I've got into the habit of wiping it after every throw and cleaning it after every session. Really didn't bother me to much with the T-zone and the Path (being plastic fantastics) but the new ball is a whole new story. Thanks again!
