    Dave, Her approach is looking very good indeed. Have he look at the video and notice her left knee at the line and the sound of the ball hitting the floor. Hear it? If she could get a little more knee bend that would help her get just a little lower and be able to get the ball down smoother. Otherwise, everything else looks very good.

    billf-Thanks for the link to DYDS! I have the same issue as Dave's girl, swinging the ball behind my back. I know I do it and have tried to fix it. I couldn't figure out how to get it straighter. I've gotten advice from teammates and a couple of coaches at a local clinic. "Just straighten it out" didn't work. "Just loosen your swing" didn't work, etc, etc.

    I think DYDS is the answer for me. I practiced some swings in front of the mirror using the DYDS technique from the article and it looks like dropping my shoulder is keeping my backswing straight.

    I can't wait to get out and practice tonight!!!
