Lights Out by Staffer Garrett Richardson
Hand: Left
Ball Speed: 16-17mph
Ball Weight: 15lbs
PAP: 5 left 7/16 up
Degrees of Tilt: 17
Layout: 5 x 5 ˝ x 2
The Lights Out I have drilled up is pin over the ring finger with the cg in with
no hole with the factory finish 1500 grit polish. With my favorite cover stock
the R2S and hybrid that is from my all time favorite ball the Hyroad I knew this
was going to be a match made in heaven.
I compared the Lights Out with the tropical heat hybrid and I had to move my
feet right and it ends up being 4 boards stronger than the tropical heat for a LOW
END BALL! When I tried to go straighter to play a more up the boards look the ball
kept going through the nose and made me move right. I have always been a believer
of using a mid to low performance ball and having a lot of hook potential on an everyday
basis. A lot of people think with a LOW END ball like this it would not be a strong ball with
no hitting power and BLAH BLAH BLAH, don't let this ball or any LOW END Storm ball fool you.
You will be highly surprised on it's performance.
With the R2S cover the Lights Out is angular down lane for a hybrid than any
other hybrid I have thrown. I can stay in the same spot of the lane that I was
with the previous ball when the lanes start to break down. For people who have the
Tropical Heat Hybrid and wanna get a fresh ball to replace the Tropical Heat Hybrid
you can go with the Lights Out and see more motion down lane.
