I have been fortunate enough to be on the end of one of these.
My last 4 weeks have been 695; 587; 645; 659.
So what you might say? Well before this started, my average was around 175 and the score the week before was 482 from memory.
My previous high was a 643, and a 700 series was well beyond my reach. Heck 600 was my goal, but they were in short supply! I had not even broken 248 in league (got 277 in the 695)! Now I sense that a genuine 700 is a mere formality and for the first time in my life, I even sense that a 300 is genuinely possible. I have had 7 in a row 3 times in that lot including the front 7 twice.
Licking my chops in anticipation.
The purpose of this thread is to encourage others to keep experimenting - this is how I struck upon my formula. One might as well if you are not happy with your scoring right?
For me, I finally found that I was trying too hard basically. I was putting too much muscle into the follow through - I was lifting too hard or fast.
Now I just let the pendulum effect do the work with a nice easy flow and just make sure I have the same hand position at the end of my follow through.
I use the same old faithful Blue Hammer with about 150 games on it, so don't waste your dough on new equipment - sort yourself out first with what you know.
