It does include new bowling balls also. Three or four, I can't remember. For me, I would attend if I had the extra dough.
Had an interesting conversation recently regarding bowling in general, coaching, and education/training. The subject of Mark Baker's, The Game Changer came up for discussion as well as his Camp Bakes.
I was wondering if anyone here has been or knows anyone that has been to one of the camps. How was it, if so? And if you had the money, would you invest it in something like this? Where do you think you would have to be in your bowling, or where would you want to go in your bowling, in order to spend $1K for 4 days of instruction?
We had some varied opinions, but I'm not sure how varied the opinions here will be.
Just curious...

Yes, if I had a ton of extra money, I would attend one of these camps. Would be pretty great to be taught by one of the greats.

If I had the extra money I'd love to attend the camp this year
and I'd also love to get the chance to visit the Strike Zone at
Sunset Station Hotel/Casino anyway.
So here is what you get for your money the 3 bowling balls
alone would almost be worth the cost.
$995.00 Includes the following:
•Breakfast and Lunch each day
•2 Shirts
•3 Ebonite Bowling Balls
•Training Manual & On-Lane Video Analysis w/DVD
Featured Coaches
•Chris Barnes – PBA Thursday
•Lynda Barnes – Physical Game
•John Gaines - Equipment
•Robin Romeo – Spare Game
•Joe Hutchinson – Release
•Barry Asher – Timing
•Dave Husted – Lane Play
•Mark Baker – Mental Game
The rooms are not all the expensive either at $52.00 per night maybe
next year I'll try to attend if I'm able to do so.

It sounds like a pretty decent deal. I may try next year as well.
Next year is in May 2014, I am trying to find out the exact dates. This has truly peaked my interest, even though I work with a coach already. I recently read Mark Baker's - The Game Changer, and I plan on reading it once a month. I'm sure it will keep me motivated to attend the camp if at all possible.

Indication is that the dates are set during/after the October camp dates, but is usually the 1st week of May. Everything got_a_300 listed is correct, video is done every day (or more often if time permits). Camps are limited to 36 bowlers w/a 175+ average. I am going to see if they have a list for saving a space - in case the dates work out with my scheduling.
