Is there a major difference between the two?
That's a CAB just a minor style difference than the ones pictured above.

Storm recommends touching up the surface about every 20 games and resurfacing completely about every 30-50 games. But it just depends on how much you bowl and on the conditions.

Theres an idea...rather than a $220 ball spinner...buy a $2000 drill press. Or, if you're really feeling crafty...buy a car, turn it on it's side, mount 2 fruit baskets to the tires (the ones facing up) and then you can spin 2 balls at once at speeds ranging from 100-12000 rpms!!

I like how you think. Maybe you could get more revs if you bought a Lambo Aventador? And on weekends run a high end escort service / bowling ball spinning mobile service? You are quite a wordsmith Aslan. Too bad a drill press you can get for $69 or less: http://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...FcZd3godN0kATQ

    Umm...

    1) Already tried the escort idea and then your mom quit so it ruined the whole.....KIDDING....KIDDING...

...and where did THAT come from anyway?? One minute we're talking makeshift bowling equipment and the next thing escort services...talk about a left turn! And don't let Iceman read that...he's very sensitive about "women of the night" so we try to steer clear of the subject just for future reference. I mean, I don't care. I deal with that stuff every day....but some folks are more sensitive old skool about that kinda stuff.

    2) Okay, fine...if you want to buy the carpiest drill press available...I guess I stand corrected.

well I guarantee a $200 spinner machine is no $2,000 drill press equivalent - it's more like a $60 drill press equivalent just priced higher because it is specialty equipment. but on a related note I live by the philosophy if you want a race car, buy a race car. you could save a few bucks and build a spinner yourself - as the video shows it is pretty simple. but would it work as good, almost as good or not good at all? So imo spend the $200 and get the spinner. I just happened to run across the video when I did a search for spinning machines. thought it was mildly interesting - almost as mildly interesting as your mom joke, lol.

I'll take "mildly interesting". A compliment is a compliment in my book.
