In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour, a commemorative 50th Anniversary towel is available for purchase, with portions of the proceeds going to charitable causes.

The PBA is donating one dollar from every 50th Anniversary towel sale to The Bowling Foundation, a not for profit organization serving as the premier charitable arm for the sport of bowling.

“Every bowler needs a new towel for their bag. What a great way to commemorate this historic 50th Anniversary season of the PBA Tour,” said Tom Clark, PBA Chief Operating Officer. “And bowlers will be proud to know that portions of the proceeds from their purchase of this great towel will go to the great causes supported by the Bowling Foundation.”

The Bowling Foundation supports charities such as: the “Special Olympics,” “Bowl for a Cure,” which raises money to fight against breast cancer with Susan G. Komen for the Cure, “Bowlers Salute America’s Troops,” which is governed by the Bowlers to Veterans Link (BVL), “Bowl for Kid’s Sake,” a program designed to help Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and “Get Ahead with Bowler’s Ed,” a special program designed to help physical education teachers teach bowling to their PE students.

“We are excited to partner with the PBA on this project and continue to raise money within the bowling industry to support our remarkable charitable causes,” said Troy Greisen, Executive Director of The Bowling Foundation.

The black microfiber 50th Anniversary PBA towel bears the 50th Anniversary logo and can be purchased for $14.95 by visiting www.pbastore.com or on site at any Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour event.

Now through December 31, 2008 there will be a 10 percent holiday discount added to all purchases.
