Tuesday Men's League: THS
Third Week
509 Series: 200-167-142
Game 1 I had good carry. Be nice if I could learn how to make a spare more than 50% of the time...but a 200 is a 200.
Two missed single pins...one in the first frame and one in the 10th frame. Touched my plastic ball 4 times...had 4 open frames.
Game 3 I started to lose my line on the right lane and it looked like I needed to change balls. But, I didn't have a good option. By the time I figured out I needed to make the change, I had already opened twice. By the time I figured out what I needed to do with the Rhino Gold to hit the pocket, it was already the 10th frame. Another two missed single pins. Finally made one though...so, throw me a ******** party.

As much as I knew it was going to disappoint Rob, I had to relinquish left of 2nd arrow and move outside and throw up the 8-board. I just couldn't do it. The Grudge Hybrid was too much ball in practice and too weak as soon as I moved inside the track. So, I just started with the Aura Mystic and it felt good up the 8-board.
I don't know. I'm angry at the series. Another horrible performance. But, in retrospect, it was really the single-pin spare shooting that sunk that series. I could have averaged over 180 had I made 5 corner-pin spares. Instead, I missed 4 out of 5. Thats no acceptable. If I had the money, I'd be at the bowling center every evening rolling 3 games of low-ball practicing my spares until I fix this...but, I don't. At $5/game...practice can get pretty dang expensive pretty quick. There's a place nearby that has $3.50 games a few days a week...maybe I could try there.
