    Default Leaving weird spares

Yesterday while practicing...at least 3 times I left a 4-7/6-9-10. That seems like a really odd spare to leave...and I left it at least 3 times over 6 games.

I'm guessing it's a by-product of my ball seeming to lose a lot of it's reactivity...and it's not coming back into the headpin from the side. I don't know. No real good way to pick a spare like that up. I just end up throwing at the 6-pin and taking my 3 pins versus aiming for the left side of the 4-pin and hoping it goes across and takes out 1 to 3 of the 6-9-10 cluster.

Sort of sounds like the ball hit a little high without enough angle. Can you try starting off further to the right to make up for your lack of hook?

I'm thinking to leave that spare, the ball isn't hooking early enough. It has to be hooking because a straight shot wouldn't leave the 9. I'm thinking it hits kinda straight...then hooks left of the 9. I don't know. My ball is annoying me that there's so little reactivity at this point...I'm gonna have to have the pro shop give it a once over before leagues start up....because this is rediculous.
