    Default Eternal Bowler's scores; (September 1, 2013 - July 31, 2014)

Hey everyone! I have decided to start this thread for all my scores, whether they come from open play/practice, league, or tournament play. Feel free to add any comments you have about my scores/progress!

Practice/open play session on 9-8-2013; I hadn't bowled in nearly three weeks and went 126-149-145...I made the mistake of going one more game and 112 was the result. My standards have changed a lot in the past year, year and a half or so.

I decided to apply fitting tape to my actual thumb to make the thumb hole seem tighter so that I wouldn't have to squeeze it...the results were surprising, and I HAD to relax my hand for the most part. My speed is up, maybe not my revs, but definitely my speed. I'm also not lofting the ball as much, so that's a good sign, I think.

The start of my youth league was today; scores apparently did count.

This was the result of not having bowled for nearly a month, and somehow, I was able to do really well!

I'm using this as proof of my scores, because it's hard to believe I did this well so early on.

    Shot 165-134-167 for 466.

Today, this is what I did. In one fell swoop, I dropped my average from 155 to 146. Thankfully, there's a lot of time left to be able to improve.

Shot 134-123-157 for 414. I always make a recovery in the last game for some reason.

I was a little sick when I showed up to league (had been and my voice was/is hoarse today)...but I did REALLY well for being "off"...or even by healthy standards.

This is what happened when I focused on my target and adjusted for spares
. I managed to get my average up 6 pins from 146 to 152.

I shot 186-144-158 for 488...it was a very great day today.

So...I pre-bowled last week and - oh my word these lanes were toast. They may have worked to my advantage, but still, I was quite surprised.

This was ultimately the result of getting tired and dry lanes. But with shooting 176-163-151 for 490, my highest series ever to date, I can't really complain.

I was so late in delivering my scores due to either being busy or distracted; sorry for the long delay! Hopefully after I bowl tomorrow I'll post my scores that day!
