Thread: Do you exercise for bowling? If so, what do you do?

Without getting to far in the weeds:
Day 1 Chest: Focus Flat/Incline/Decline Bench
    Day 2 Arms (bi/tri)
Day 3 Back: Focus Dead Lift and Rows
    Day 4 Legs: Focus Squat

Take 1 day a week off and pick up cycle were it was left off. Diet is basic 5 small meals a day with emphasis on protein.

My philosophy: All sports require you to train HARD. Lift heavy and often......you would be amazed at how quick you no longer have any issues with back/knees/wrist/elbows/shoulders etc. while bowling...

I just have a lot of sex...with women. Good cardio...gets the juices flown. Good lower body workout...good upper body workout.

Just gotta make sure their husbands don't come home early...cuz they start swingin baseball bats...you could seriously injure your bowling hand.

Don't train specifically for bowling. I also do P90X, and I've found the yoga and other leg/core workouts for that really help with the balance and stability aspect of bowling.

    Full body workouts.

I agree with swingset and do HIIT's.

I'm currently doing Tapout XT. Great workout!

I chase tourists, murder transients, flee from the police...your usual exercises. I use to be in a fight club, but the first rule of the fight club was...well, I can't say.

Due to my lower back issues, my chiropractor has me doing exercises to stretch the muscles in my hips and lower back. The entails laying on my back and crossing my legs, then pulling the crossed leg toward my chest. I do this on both sides. The I sit up in a chair, cross legged once again, and press the inside of my knee downward toward the floor. This helps stretch the hip flexors...

Well played!! But no. I bought a GTA a loooong time ago...either the original or II....hated it. I don't like games where you have to follow stories. I like FPS games online....where ya can do anything ya want. But not "story" games.

The GTA series is an open world sandbox game. The missions are only there if you want to follow the story line.

Try the powerball - that is what I use to build up wrist, forearm, etc.: http://www.powerballs.com/

That is loosely related to bowling exercise to me. I do other exercise but not for bowling.
