Nice! What kind of ball is it?

I used to bowl at Thunderbird Lanes over near Clawson/Troy/Madison Heights area back when I had the misfortune of living in Michigan. And there was this alley near my friend's house, just north of 8-mile on Dequindre...but I can't remember the name. We never went there because once it got dark it looked like it was all gangs and stuff there.

Kind of attached to the ball since it throws so well. It has some serious power when it hits the pocket. Shot my best game and series with it. I cannot believe how good it looks. He really did a great job on it. Can't wait to throw it tomorrow night but really looking forward to throwing it on Tuesday on the synthetic lanes.

Misfortune of living in Michigan? Must have been in the wrong part of the state.

I actually spent time in multiple parts of the state. I guess the West coast and upper state is okay. But when 2 of it's major Southeastern cities are considered 2 of the worst 5 cities in the country...and it's major city is the largest city in the US to declare bankruptcy...I think I have it on good authority, especially having lived there, that it's pretty much a hole. I love the Wings, Lions, and Tigers...grew up there, went to college there, lived there, had a baby there...but I can't say I'm sad to leave it. I just wish I'd have left a few years earlier and avoided the worst of it.

I love Michigan, nothing like living in the glove. Best sports teams, fans, and just an overall great place to live.

To each their own I reckon. You are talking about .05% of the state. Yeah I agree Detroit and Flint are horrible. But they are a tiny % of the state. I have spent some time on the west coast along with most of the rest of the world and really the only other place I'd consider living is Alaska.

Detroit and Flint make up 8% of the State, not .05%. And if you add their metropolitan areas, it's over 35%. AND...only Texas and Michigan have TWO cities in the bottom 5...and Texas's cities both are border cities with the 3rd world country known as Mexico. So while yes, living one's life in Petoskey, MI or Traverse City, MI or even Kalamazoo...yeah, it's a beautiful state in some parts. But if you're living in Jackson, or Flint, or Detroit, Wyandotte, or Warren...which most Michiganders do...it's a hole.

Now...if your favorite place to live is Alaska...then you're one of those outdoorsy/woodsy guys and you can find yourself a nice cottage in Oscoda or near Gaylord...you're in 7th heaven! Unfortunately, while Michigan has some really nice woodsy/outdoorsy areas like that....kinda hard to find a job in those parts...like Alaska.
