Default Pin length and top weights

I was curious to know how many members match (as close as possible) the pin length and top weight on the various bowling balls in their arsenal?

I'm not really sure I understand your question, but I'll see what I can do.

When selecting a bowling ball, you have to keep in mind that the manufacturing process is purposely imperfect. Top weight exists primarily for finger holes (see the standard "pancake" weight block). It is also important to remember the core accounts for a much smaller portion of the motion of the ball than the coverstock formulation and preparation.

That said, I usually select bowling balls with pin to cg distances of greater than 2 inches. I usually don't care about top weight unless it's less than 1.5oz or greater than 3.5oz. I have not yet had a ball with less than 1.5oz at 15lbs, but when a ball has more than 3.5oz of top weight, it can limit drilling options or require the use of large/deep weight holes.
