Friday With Barry
My husband Chris and I arrived early to Fountain Bowl for his lesson with Mark Baker. We cruised around a little then sat down to hang out and watch other bowlers, etc.
Barry Asher owns the pro shop there and does Saturday clinics with Mark. Barry stopped to say hi to us and ended up talking with us for almost an hour. It was friggen great! He tells the funniest stories and is a super nice guy!! He would smoke RP doing color for TV!
My husband got him going when he said that it was so impressive Barry's scoring record stood for ten years and it was only broken after the new balls started coming out in the 80's, they had to invent new balls just to beat you!
Then, Chris gets a lesson with one of the top coaches in the world!
It was awesome! Chris said that it was the best present he ever got! Ahh, shucks. 
We had such a great day!!

When I went to the Clinic that one time, I told Barry that I was "friend's with Bunny" like twice....didn't occur to me until I left that the reason he looked at me so oddly was that "Bunny" isn't your real name. DOHT!!
