Default Son thinking putting a bowling alley in his new house!

My oldest son is thinking about putting a one lane bowling lane in the new house he is designing, along with a basketball court! Yes I know it sounds like
B.S., but he is very well off, and is seriously considering it, knowing it will cost a pretty penny!

Any Ideas, or others out there that have one! He knows it will also involve an oil machine ect.... wanted me to get some more info of the cost and forward it to him!

Wow,,, a FRICKEN bowling lane in the family!!! I thought he was kidding, but not so!! Wow did I create a monster!!! LOL

Did I say I only live about 20 miles from his place (

That would be awesome. I would recommend 2 lanes so you can switch back and forth league style but that's just imho.

Don't have to talk him into it!!! He was a business major at ASU, and did well! He is a wise with money, and does very well! So when he says he is looking into building a bowling lane, he is! He and his wife both are very successful in their carriers!

He has the money to do it! He was the one that mentioned it to me several weeks ago! We shall see,,, he is designing his house and layout at the present time!
He is also incorporating a half court basketball court, not sure if it wil be indoors, or out!! Forgot to ask! Agnail, I will post pictures of it when it happens! It's still in the planning stage at this time!
I would not say it's 100 percent, but he is looking into all that would be needed, and expense!

I've heard that it literally runs around 500k a lane in cost estimates for an actual bowling alley - I wonder if it's different for a personal one in-home, and if so how much it will cost.

Even if he doesn't do it, let me know what the cost estimate comes to, I'm interested to know!

$500k? Seems high. Had to google it. Granted I just checked this one site but a far cry from $500k: http://www.fusionbowling.com/pricing/
