Many might be working on resolutions, some making black eyed peas, and some watching the endless amount of college football.

I make the same resolution every year, and try really hard to keep it. It's mostly about work. I resolve to be more patient with stupidity. It gets so hard to keep as the year goes on!

and some get skooled on wood lanes. What a way to start 2009. I'll be glad I'll be back at my house Friday evening, I can make up for my poor performance and stop beating myself up over it. I'll go back next year and hopefully do better. I never back away from challenges. My coach went with me this year - he just reminded me that no matter how you feel that day, good or bad, the lanes will only let you score as well as you did. If you feel bad and the lanes are unforgiving, it will be a bad day, if you feel good and the lanes... That convo went on for 15 minutes. lol
