I don't think it's weird. I just found a great home for the 12lb Green and White DV8 Misfit I drilled after surgery thinking I wasn't going to be able to throw 14lbs. Luckily, I was able to go back to 14 so the Misfit is brand spanking new.
On Saturdays the special needs bowlers bowl right before us at Fountain Bowl. I saw I guy I used to work with there. (I work with special needs patients.) He's friends with one of the bowler's Moms. The bowler's name is Chelsea. She's very sociable and globbed onto me immediately. She was wanting me to watch every shot, so we were cheering her on. She's a pretty good bowler!
I brought the ball in last weekend to she if she might like to use it. She friggen loves it!! I had the pro shop plug it and she came in Tuesday to have it drilled. My ex-coworker Jesse and Chelsea called on speakerphone Wednesday to tell me how much she likes the ball. Man, I had the biggest grin on my face!
Chelsea's bowling in Special Olympics Regionals tomorrow. We're going to root her and the other athletes on. If she does well tomorrow she competes in the Winter Games on December 14th!
Go Chelsea!!!
