    DV8 Challenge league
    11/25/13
    Pattern: Kegel Pure Evil
    1st set: 170, 170
    2nd set: 221, 160

Oddly enough that pair of 170s was good enough to sweep the first set. Would have needed a 238 in the last game to sweep the second and 210 to take total.

Our youth league competes on sport patterns for the most part. They generally get whatever pattern the Monday night sport league is going to bowl on. Today a 16 year old shot a 242 the third game on Kegel Boardwalk.

There are no fall sport leagues around here. I bowled in the summer on the four old animal patterns and the U.S. Open pattern and averaged around 170 or so. I couldn't list the scores though. My high was, I think, 236 (US Open) and the low was around 120 (Shark).

    DV8 Challenge league
    12/2/13
    Pattern: Kegel Boardwalk

    First Set: 156, 211

    2nd Set: 180, 206

The last three games may look pretty good, but the league average was close to 190 for the night.

    DV8 Challenge league
    12/16/13
    Pattern: Kegel Boardwalk

    First Set: 150, 138

    2nd Set: 172, 191

The first set scores were due to ridiculously bad spare shooting. Whatever was causing the bad shots resolved itself in the second set. Ended the 172 game with two splits, the 191 was clean.

    Pattern: Kegel Highway to Hell

    First Set: 167, 178

Considering that the the league as a whole averaged a bit over 170 for the night and I averaged 173, I'm not too disappointed

Double position round to end the first half. Wound up being the same four bowlers both sets just on a different pair
