So your second step was crossing over the first step, meaning after the first crossover step you also did a crossover with the second foot

I've never even really thought about doing my first step as a crossover, had to watch a video on why you would even want to. Then looked at what I really do and I do a partial where my fist step (4 step approach) does get even with my big toe of my left foot. Interesting, to think about.

Yeah I always stepped straight forward with my second step (5 step) and while I haven't actually hit my leg with the ball, on some video I did notice the ball doesn't swing back as straight and natural as it would if my step crossed over a bit. I just wasn't sure how it would affect the rest of my steps - I did practice a bit yesterday, and while it threw my timing off a bit at first near the end it seemed about right.

Next practice session I'm gonna work on 5 step and hopefully get that down somewhat by league night.

I think next time I bowl I'm going to record myself with my phone, I want to get a better view of things.

I find it helps a lot, and I never even thought of it until I noticed people on this site doing it.
