Default Ball Demo's need to be REAL!! NOW ... Starting TODAY!!

How many of you are TIRED of seeing new ball demo’s! Really, a pro, or almost pro throwing the new releases!! Yaaaaaawwwwwnnnn! They can make a coconut look good going down the lanes!
I would rather see average people testing the balls, Men and Women! People with health issues and various injuries like ICEMAN!!

Middle aged and older up to 80 years old!! What we don’t buy balls?????
We want to see your balls thrown by REAL PEOPLE, not bowling Gods!!

I can be contacted through bowingboard.com, I know a chick that’s in her 80’s that might be available!
Lets have a TRUE REAL WORLD view of your products used by average real people!

As I have said before, if you truly blocked out the color of the ball, and just watched the ball movement, what do they all do?????? Beautiful Arc to the pocket, ,, all get massive strikes… 3 to 5 minutes of perfect strikes, and all the balls LOOK GREAT!!

See what Tweedy , (the 80 something gal I know), and Iceman can do with the gods gift to the bowlers bowling balls that Pro’s (or almost pro’s), make look sooooo awesome!

It dosent take much of a ball at all, for a Pro-level-bowler, to make it look magnificent!

Example, Jason, my young friend that yesterday got a couple award pins for his recent 300’s, he can pick up anyones bowling ball, and does many times with even mine, and throw a strike. No matter what the weight, span, or size of the holes, as long as he can get his small fingers into the balls, he can make it look good!! He has the gift!
It time for REAL PEOPLE TO BE TESTERS, NOT EDITED PRO’s Tony!!! ()
    Don't walk on Thin Ice!

I'm on the fence regarding this. On one hand, I'd like to see a similar bowler to myself use a ball that Im looking into to see how it may react. On the other hand, that doesn't truly give you an idea of what the ball is capable of.

I just try and find a video of a guy using it that has similar revs/speed that I throw.

This is one reason I generally dont watch alot of videos. One thing you can do is talk to your center and get them to set up some demo days for the equipment you want to throw.

I think I'd rather just see the videos where they leave some pins, watching someone that is inconsistent with the ball might not tell you a lot either.

Exactly right treefrog. A video of some guy who's inconsistent and has flaws in his release/approach doesn't show me anything about the equipment. I do REALLY like this guys videos though, he's a Storm staffer and all his vids really do talk about and compare other equipment:

I like the way he pulled out a couple other balls in the Byte video and threw the exact same line to show the reaction difference. When they have already moved lines before switching balls I just don't feel like you can get a real read on the ball differences without being a real expert. I also really like that he went and threw some other lines with it as well (though I've never had the guts to shoot the 1 board on purpose for too long, lol)

Agreed. This is why I like the ball reviews where they have a cranker, tweener, and stroker. You can at least "sort of" see how the ball reacts in your style. But I do agree with Iceman…seeing a pro throw 12 strikes in a row after editing out all the non-strikes is kinda useless.

The videos are well done. Imo. Tony R rolls a great shot. Dustin S rolls a 2handed shot. Good for the younger group of bowlers. Justin B rolls like a pro. Curlie B rolls a very nice up and in shot and is a mature player. I am fortunate to roll with these players in league. Maybe they will ask me to be in a video!

I can't believe there's even 7 posts without someone commenting on how they always throw on the same typical house shot. What possibly is the point of that? Why would I want to watch 5 minutes of strikes on the exact same pattern? Here's a ball for medium/heavy oil. Here's is a 36ft typical house shot with 26u of oil. Here's a two hander playing left of fifth arrow. What's the point? They are obviously trying to sell balls to the typical house bowler but on a typical house shot THEY ALL STRIKE because the shot is easy and 215+ average bowlers can strike at will with any decent ball.

Show a typical house shot sure, but then show the ball being thrown on a pattern that is what the ball is supposedly designed for.
    Ball speed: 17 - 18.5 mph Rev rate: 400ish

Well sprocket, that's what the majority of people play on.
