Felt really good, hammered the pocket all night. I probably missed 2 or 3 shots all night. Was a little behind on lane transition in game 2/3, threw away a couple of easy 210+ games (esp. game 2). Struggled a little on my 10s again... when I get a bit of money I really need a plastic ball with my updated release. Threw palm up and it worked, but isn't comfortable anymore. Overall happy with the night but it should've been higher. Gotta get out of my own head.

...And my thursday struggles continue. I was great in practice then awful in the game. No strikes in game 1 until frame 8. Oil was weird too (theme, which I really should try to adjust ot coming in I guess since it's been consistent) and I had to throw my dry lane, way inside ball - when I did, I finished XX9/X for a 152. Game 2 I started with a double, then chopped a 4-8. I had a TON of chops tonight, at least 1 per game. I think I had 3 in game 2... anyway, after I finally got my head out of you know where and threw the right ball, I finished game 2 with XXX and finally threw a good game in 3. I did chop a 6-10 in the 9th to ruin a better game, though.
On a related note, I think a LOT of my Thursday problems stem from leaving work a little early, while everything is going on, driving 40 min to the alley and immediately bowling. I'm still revved up from work/driving in traffic and it takes me until game 3 to relax... this year, my average is 20+ pins higher in the third game than in game 1. I do have a workaround for that though. Going to work from a different office next week and see if a more relaxed time/commute helps. Keep working at it, I'll get this to 190 - had a lot of bad luck so far this year and I'll get everything right sooner or later.
