Default What does this lane condition mean?

I was looking at the 5 layouts for the Blue Hammer ball. Layout #4 was the low RG layout with a ball motion of early hook with a smooth arc for a lane condition of fresh backends and wet/dry. This layout has a low flare potential with a pin placement 1 to 2" from the PAP. What does the lane condition mentioned above mean? I bowl on THS pattern and wanted to experiment with a new layout for my Blue Hammer. I went from a 4000 Abralon surface to a 2000 surface but the ball still lacks some power to the pocket that I would like. My other ball is the Raw Hammer Anger resin ball with a 2000 Abralon surface. I have no trouble using this ball on our THS pattern playing deep from board 30 to 35. There are three different layouts for layout #4. Would this layout be okay for a THS pattern?

If wanted a stronger reaction from a urethane ball on modern lanes, I'd look in the 500-800 range for finish and play it in the dry as much as possible....I'd think 2000-4000 would make it appropriate for nothing but bone dry lanes as a strike ball.
