I would be interested in learning how they judged the bowling balls. Did they actually review these themselves? Did they review every ball or just the ones that companies sent them for free to review.

According to joe cerar of bowlers journal magazine, when he posted on bowlingchat looking for those interested in voting.

"it's pro shop operators only. staffers are naturally too biased and consumers generally only test a very limited amount."

And somehow all of them are something new that hasn't been done before. I for one refuse to fall for it. A slew of these have to be repeats from the past.

Imagine as a ball company you come up with an excellent cover/core combination that is outstanding for its intended purpose and the bowlers who buy it, love it. Are you going to retire it? Or are you just going to retire the NAME and COLOR and just call the exact same cover/core combo by a different name?

Brunswick Brute Strength, Brunswick Mastermind Genius, DV8 Endless Nightmare, DV8 Diva, DV8 Diva Pearl, DV8 Marauder Mutiny, & Brunswick White Viz-A-Ball spare ball

I don't put too much stock in this list. I think most all pro shop operators are on a ball companies staff to some degree. my guy is with Storm. Pro shop gets bought out, now he is with ebonite and their 100 companies. Only makes sense they would put those balls before any other ones.
