Question about Clean N' Dull
Is Clean N' Dull okay to use on balls with polish? I know I have read it is safe for all coverstocks but wasn't sure if polish needed to be reapplied after using it for a deep clean. Just wanted to make sure I don't mess up the polish on two of my favorite balls (Storm IQ Tour Pearl and DV8 Dude)

In the above video by Powerhouse he just rubs on the Clean N' Dull then buffs off with the dry side of the towel. Do you use the damp cloth method? Just curious on your opinion if the damp cloth is needed.

Also the fact he applies polish directly after the Clean N' Dull is what made me ask the question about reapplying polish or not.

It depends on what your doing.
If your wanting to clean at the lanes, don't bother with Clean'N Dull. It isn't really practical for use at the lanes, a spray cleaner like Hook-it, TacUp, Monstertac would be better.
If you have a few games on your ball and are not going to refinish the surface yet and just what to give it a little deep clean, then C'ND will be fine.
It's not going to remove polish and dull the ball. Most polish are not coatings, like a coat of wax that you can remove. (Unless you used one with a slip agent in it).
After cleaning the ball it might not have that wet look shine, because you cleaned the oils off and the shine is wearing down. It's not really going change the texture though.
If you just refinished your ball, you would use it just before you polished. So it would get the best penetration into the pores, Because the polish could plug up the pores some.
Now I included The Original instructions for use because some have noticed a residue after use.
I think it's because they used the new instruction which say "Apply a liberal amount" (meaning use too much, so we can sell you more) and they removed the wet towel part.
If you don't over do it, you could do it without the wet towel.
Now when I use it, I'm usually on my spinner and I wash it off. I think it gives a little better result, because it gets any possible residue of it off.
Now remember everyone has their own way of doing it. Someone else could do it differently.

Thanks! I appreciate the advice and help. I wipe the ball after every shot and clean directly after bowling with Brunswick Remove All cleaner (going to try some different ones just to compare). I figure once a week I would use the Clean N' Dull as a deep clean. Thanks again for the quick response!
